It’s also connected to San Antonio, where David Robinson wore the Air Command Force in the white and Volt colorway that inspired the hybrid sneaker. Finally, there’s L.A., where fictional character, and the model’s namesake, Billy Hoyle donned Robinson’s kicks to hustle other streetballers in the ’92 film White Men Can’t Jump.
